Machine for die moulding ceramics - uses screw worm which forces ceramic paste into cylinder form which it is pushed into die

The arrangement consists of a transport screw which is mounted in a horizontal cylinder. The screw pushes the ceramic paste via a control valve into a pressure cylinder and the pressure cylinder pushes the paste via the control valve and a water removing arrangement into a die. The control valve consists of a slide which can be placed in two positions. In the first position, it connects the transport screw to the pressure cylinder, in the second position, it connects the pressure cylinder to the die. The water removing arrangement consists of a sintered tube which is pushed into the channel between the pressure cylinder and the die. The outside diameter of the sintered tube is reduced over its centre section forming an annular space.
