Zusammenfassung:Herbicidal compsns. contain (a) 3-(5-n-butylsulphonyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)-1,3-dimethylurea (I), of formula: and (b) a 1,2,4-triazin-5 (4H)-one of formula (II): and (b) a 1,2,4-triazin-5 (4H)-one of formula (II): (where R1 and R2 are H or together form an opt. substd. alkylidene or cycloalkylidene residue). Combination of (I) and (II) have synergistically increased and extended activity; esp. against Alopecurus myosuroides and Galium aparine; they are esp. useful for selective post-emergence weed control in cereal, potato, tomato and soya bean crops.
