Zusammenfassung: | Beer having a reduced alcohol content is prepd. by treatment with an adsorber resin suitable for selective alcohol adsorption and preliminarily charged with the specific organoleptic and flavouring materials of beer, pref. by at least one pre-treatment, namely charging with beer and desorption of the alcohol. The taste of the beer remains unaltered and the resin may be used for 100 or more cycles. Pref. adsorber resins are porous, non-polar or low-polar, with av. pore dia. 10-100 angstroms, and include polymers and copolymers based on styre/divinylbenzene, (meth)acrylic acid and their esters, polyamides, polyesters, polyurethanes, opt. crosslinked cellulose, agarose, starch and other carbohydrate structures, esp. having porosity 30-70%, density 0.8-1.2 g/ml, surface 100-900 m2/g. |
