Zusammenfassung: | High-mol. wt. co-polyamides with relative viscosity 1.3-3 (1.4-2.2) (at 20 degrees C as a 0.5% soln. in conc. H2SO4) contain (1) 0.1-15 (0.5-8) moles % of units of formula -HN-A-NH- OC-Ar-CO-, where a is the divalent residue of a colouring diamine and Ar is the divalent residue of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, and (2) 85-99.8 moles % of units of formula -HN-B-NH-OC-Ar-CO-, where B is the divalent residue of is not 1 aromatic or heterocyclic diamine. The colour is built into the polymer and is fast to light, washing and migration. The properties of the polyamide are not affected by the small amt. of the coloured co-diamine. The pollution problems of vat and carrier dyeing processes are avoided. |
