Zusammenfassung:	1463004 Feeding welding wire DSO METALOLEENE 29 Jan 1974 [30 Jan 1973] 04178/74 Heading B3R A feeding arrangement for feeding a welding electrode wire 7 comprises two planetary roller feeding mechanisms 1, 2 driven by motors 3, 4, the wire from reel 8 being passed through a flexible tube 5 in direction E and into tube 6 on welding tool handle 10 adjacent the welding location 11. Motors 3, 4 are controlled by regulators 14, 9 respectively, regulator 9 having a settable potentiometer 16 controlling the desired speed of motor 4 which is kept constant despite variation in mechanical resistance to the wire in tube 5. Regulator 14 has a resistance 15 and the voltage drop across this controls the speed of motor 3 which is increased to ease the mechanical resistive load on motor 4 and which is decreased when the load is eased. Motor and welding current along lines 17, 18 and 12 respectively is supplied by source 13. Lines 12 are provided inside the tube 5. Motor 4 is switched on by switch or relay 19 on handle 10.
