Zusammenfassung:	1442364 Oligomerizing and aromatizing olefins MOBIL OIL CORP 18 Dec 1973 [11 Jan 1973] 58534/73 Heading C5E A C 2 -C 5 olefin-containing gas stream is aromatized in a two stage process comprising (a) oligomerizing the gas feed with a ZSM 5, 8 or 11 type catalyst in the absence of added H 2 at 560-850 F. and up to 800Àp.s.i.g. to give a product consisting of up to 50% gas and a C 5 -C 9 olefinic liquid, and contacting at least part of the liquid product of (a) with a second ZSM 5, 8 or 11 type zeolite at 800-1200 F. and 1-10 atmospheres in the absence of added H 2 so as to produce up to 50% of a second gaseous product and a second liquid product comprising at least 75% aromatics. In the examples propylene was oligomerized with a Ni exchanged HZSM 5 catalyst and the liquid product aromatized with Zn ZSM 5 catalyst. Gaseous products of the oligomerization maybe pyrolized to convert paraffins to olefins which are recycled to the oligomerization.
