Zusammenfassung:	Acrylic fibres made by wet spinning are treated with a weakly acid aq. emulsion contg. (A) a silicone resin of formula (in which R is R1NHR2, R'NHR" or R'NR"2, R' is-(CH2)n-R" is CmH2m+1, n and m are 1-3, and x and y are whole numbers giving a mol. wt. below 100,000) and (B) a polyoxyethylene alkyl phenyl phosphate as emulsifier. The fibres are immediately dried to fix (A) on the surface, and a spinning oil is subsequently applied. The resin is pref. applied while the fibres are in a gel state contg. 40-100% water based on dry fibre wt. in amt. of 0.1-3% (B) pref. contains 5-15 ethylene oxide gps. and 8-12C alkyl gps. Prods. from the fibres have a slippery feel resembling wool which is resistant to washing treatment.
