Mechanical scissor linkage actuator for refuse compacting machine ram - has telescopic sliding members at connection to ram plate

The refuse compacting press ram plate is actuated by means of one or more scissor linkages. The compacting plate is moved in the vertical direction upwards. The free ends of the scissor linkage are pivoted on horizontally sliding blocks. These blocks slide within the pressure exerting plate. The free ends of the scissor linkage system has freely pivoted rollers. These rolls rotate within the guiding rails between the stops. These guide rails in turn are able to slide freely within the guide rail. The common guide rail ensures that the adjusting rails can slide within it and that they do not project beyond the ram plate. This design ensures that the total stroke of the pressure exerting scissor linkage is not restricted even if a circular pressure pad is used. This refuse compacting press can be used for compacting the refuse in a standard circular refuse bin.
