Zusammenfassung:	This ground anchor is used for anchoring a steel tension member such as a steel wire rope. The lower end of this member is connected to the upper section of a friction element. The friction element is a short steel tube which is bonded to the enclosing compacted element. The friction element is relatively short. The steel member is fitted with clearance within another steel tube. This steel tube is fitted into the borehole and its bottom meets the top of the friction element. The bottom of the steel wire rope or rod may be screwed into the friction element and hence the tension member can be readily released.
