Zusammenfassung:The material to be rolled is unwound from a coil by gripping heads on a reciprocating feeder operated on parallel linkages by a crank mechanism. The motion of the feeder is synchronized with the vertical displacement of a reduction roll set controlled by a hydraulic cylinder with an accumulator which ensures a constant roll pressure on the handle material. A roller turning the material through 90 deg. swings in synch with the reduction roll set and feeder while a tension roller ensures a constant tension of the rolled material. Spacers between the rolls of the reduction set maintain a predetermined thickness of the rolled material.
