PHTHALOCYANIN-PIGMENTE

A process in which a pigment is produced comprising incorporating into a metal phthalocyanine green compound, a minor proportion of a copper phthalocyanine derivative having either the formula: CuPc(SO3H)3-4 II or }(SO2 N R R1)y }Cu Pc ANGLE I }(SO3 H2 N R R1)x } WHEREIN Cu Pc represents a copper phthalocyanine residue, which is halogenated or unhalogenated, R represents a cyclic or acyclic alkyl group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or an aryl group, R1 represents hydrogen, a cyclic or acyclic alkyl group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms or an aryl group, the alkyl or aryl groups being either unsubstituted or substituted by hydroxyl, amino, alkylamino or amide substituents, and x and y each represent 1, 2 or 3 with the proviso that the sum of x and y is 2, 3 or 4.
