Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:In prodn. of lower olefine and aromatic-rich fractions in the petrol and kerosene boiling range, hydrocarbon fractions boiling at =450 degrees C (pref. straight-run petroleum fractions) are pyrolysed under pressure in presence of steam and methane or methane-rich gas. Cracking is pref. carried out under 10-50 (25-40) atmos. at 700-1000 degrees C with dwell times 0.8 secs. Ratio of steam to methane is 6-0.5:1 (2.5-1.8:1). Formation of methane during pyrolysis is suppressed, and gum or coke formation in the reactor and cracked gas coolers is reduced to around 1/3 by addition of methane. Field of liquid products in the required boiling range is increased.
