Zusammenfassung:	A mobile tower crane with a tiltable, non-rotatable tower mounted on a mobile platform such as a truck, trailer or semi-trailer vehicle. The mobile platform has raised side members which are effective to reinforce the platform against bending along its length, and also carry raised pivot means for the tower at the rear end of the vehicle, the pivot means co-inciding with the side of the tower which is uppermost when the tower is in the horizontal travelling condition.
