1377779 Locks GLAVNA DIRECTZIA KBUMKP PRI SGNS 26 Oct 1972 [30 Oct 1971] 49508/72 Heading E2A A key actuated lock comprises a casing 1 having a number of spring supported tumbler pins 7 and means for urging the pins through holes in the casing, an upper matrix 3 part of which is spaced from the casing, and lower matrix 4 part of which is spaced from the upper matrix, a bolt 6 slidable between the matrices and spring supported locking pins 8 aligned with the tumbler pins 7 and movable in holes in the matrices and bolt at least one of the locking pins being shaped to lock the bolt in its extended position and to be pushed into a releasing position by the respective aligned tumbler pin and key 13 of punched tape being insertable between the casing and the upper matrix and apertured so that it allows the passage of the or each tumbler pin that is to actuate the aligned respective locking pin when the means is actuated to release the lock and to prevent the passage of the tumbler pins whose aligned locking pins are not to be actuated to allow release of the lock. The lock is released by pressing a button 14 attached to an actuating plate against the pressure of springs 9, 12 abutting the plate and casing. The holes in the bolt are connected to harrow channels which allow the passage of necks of the locking pins.
