Zusammenfassung:	A rotary drive mechanism for the screw of an injection moulding machine comprises a motor mounted (overhung) on the end of a cylindrical sleeve, which is fitted as an extension to the hydraulic piston of the screw-advance hydraulic drive; this sleeve projects from the rear end of the hydraulic cylinder. The drive shaft from the motor passes through this cylindrical sleeve and through the hollow piston to reach the screw. Just inside the sleeve there is a shaft coupling, permitting easy removal and replacement of the motor; the motor is flange-mounted on the end of the sleeve with annular wedging keys fitting around the sleeve end.
