Zusammenfassung:	1389578 Food product KAL KAN FOODS Inc 28 June 1972 [12 July 1971] 30327/72 Heading A2B A food product, particularly suitable as a pet food, comprises a mass of discrete bitesized pieces, said pieces comprising coherent shape-retaining cores encased within casings substantially covering and tenaciously bonded around said cores, the cores being formed of farinaceous or proteinaceous vegetable or animal foodstuffs and being of relatively low palatability and the casings consisting of material of relatively high palatability, not readily separated from the cores, comprising animal tissue, the appearance and flavour of the core being substantially masked by the casing, which presents to the consumer the appearance taste and smell of the animal tissue. The product may be canned or frozen.
