Zusammenfassung: | The granulated or granular material falls under gravity with guidance from internal deflectors etc. from an inlet at the top of a chamber with cylindrical or plane side walls to an outlet in the base of the chamber while simultaneously hot or cold heat exchange media are fed upwards through the falling material or through double walled sections of the deflector assemblies. These consist of sloping floors leading down to the central outlet and of a central assembly with a sloping roof configuration, and a lower section housing the distribution pipework etc. for the hot/cold media. Maximised thermal transfer contact surfaces provide uniform prod. with minimum energy requirement for plant operation. |
