Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	An additional layer of metal/flux powder is used in front of the electrode in continuous metal arc flux deposition. The metal and flux powders are fed from two hopers to a communal spout which deposits them on the parent metal so that they mix with part of the normal flux coating to form a weld metal pool covered by a composite flux. The flux powder pref. has a m.pt. >=200 degrees C lower than that of the metal powder. The heat input is greatly increased compared with the normal method, and there is no loss of metal powder.
