(I) are systemic fungicides useful for curative or prophylactic treatment of plants and also have acaricidal and ovicidal props. (I) are prepd. e.g., by reacting 2-methoxycarbonylaminobenzimidazole with OCN.CR1R2.CHR3.CO2R4 or X.CO.NH.CR1R2.CHR3CO2R4 (X = Cl or Br).
