Zusammenfassung: | Laminate for damping sounds and vibrations has a perforated polymer core with an open surface of 25 - 75% bonded to an elastomeric adhesive having a glass transition temp. lying below the temp. at which the laminate is to be used, and contg. an element for increasing the load bearing capacity, the perforations of the core being partically of ahdesive, and >=1 metal layer bonded to the outside of the adhesive. The element for increasing the load bearing capacity is pref. a fabric, a metal grating, or glass fibres with a polymer coating. Can be used under cryogenic conditions. |
