Resolution of dl-tyrosine derivs - anti-parkinsonism

Anti-Parkinson L-tyrosine derivs. of formula (I): where R = H, OH or lower o-alkyl and R1 = OH or lower O-alkyl, >=1 being OH, are prepd. by reacting the N-benzoyl-DL-derivs. with an opt. substd. aniline and a protease at pH 5-7, and hydrolysing the isolated L-anilide with acid.
