Zusammenfassung:	In the device comprising a plunger acting on the impulse medium which is attached to a pneumatic piston in a cylinder, the face of the piston at the plunger side has an inwards curved ring cavity like profile, which is opposite to the inlet nozzle for the return stroke compressed air supply, which is directed into this cavity. the design ensures more efficient utilisation of the energy of the compressed air for the piston return stroke, thereby causing a saving in compressed air.
