Zusammenfassung:2-Cyanobutadiene-1,3 is emulsion (co)polymerised in org. solvent at -100 to 0 degree C using an anionic initiator contg. >=1 N-metal or P-metal bond and an ether tert. phosphine and/or tert. amine as cocatalyst. An ethylenically unsatd. cpd., =50 wt.%, is used as comonomer and the ether can act both as cocatalyst and solvent. thermoplasts and rubbers are produced which can be vulcanised and are used for mouldings. The polymers are partially sol. in inert org. solvents e.g. benzene and toluene and readily sol. in polar org. solvents e.g. THF, DMF and CHCl3.
