Zusammenfassung:	The application is to the carrying of portable electrical appliances which can also be stacked so that several can be lifted and moved at one time. In two opposite vertical sides of each appliance (1) is a slot (11) which has a dovetail shaped enlargement (7), pref. above the centre of gravity. A carrying strap (13) fitted with correspondingly shaped dovetail ends (12) is then placed in the slots. When lifted, the load is transferred through the dovetail to the strap. The dovetail ends are typically rivetted to the end of the strap. The sloping faces of the dovetail may be roughened or corrugated to give a better grip. The dovetail end is normally less in height between its parallel faces than the corresponding slot.
