Zusammenfassung:To ensure that the meat fills the skin without voids etc., and fully expands the elastic casing, the closed end presses on an axially restrained counter plate such that the expanded casing is in contact over the curved lip of a run-out braking assembly around the casing, which is reeved onto the nozzle in the usual way, the brake being set back axially from the nozzle orifice. In addition transverse vibrations are applied to the casing as it fills, at the counter plate and/or by a guide ring near the orifice or by design of the brake lip which is rotated.
