Zusammenfassung:The composns. contain (A) 5-20 wt.% solid particles of 0.075 mm size of PTFE with mol. wt.=150000 and/or tetrafluorethylene/perfluorpropylene co-polymer, (B) 40-85 wt.% particles of 0.075 mm size of one or more inorganic solids consisting of metal sulphides (except alkali or alkaline earth sulphides) metal oxides (except alkali oxides), metal fluorides, graphite, boron nitride, BaSO4, asbestos, glass fibre, other fibrous silicates or carbon fibre, and (C) 10-55 wt.% heat-setting solid epichlorohydrinbisphenol A condensate, novolak resin with multi-epoxy functionality or cyclo-aliphatic epoxy resin. Prefd. materials contain 7.5-12.5 wt.% PTFE, 60-80 wt.% MoS2 and ZnS in equal amounts, and 10-25 wt.% epichlorhydrinbisphenol A condensate cross-linked with 1,2,3,4-cyclopentane tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride. The composns. are suitable for producing bearings by cold-pressing and heating, giving excellent mechanical props. and extremely low friction.
