The sheet 30 has a pair of offset depressions 54, 56 formed at each side, the depressions being of the same thickness as the sheet 32 and preventing the collapse of the compartment 44 as the latter passes between rollers previously used to rupture the pods and spread the processing liquid. The depressions 54, 56 and an unsealed area (52), Fig.3 (not shown), of a corner fold (46) of the binding means 42 provide an air escape route from the compartment 44.
