Zusammenfassung:	Bends can be made in either direction in a pair of rolls without taking the plate out of the rolls. The rolls are mounted vertically and driven by a sprocket chain attached to a hydraulic piston, the chaing working on a toothed wheel at the lower end of the outdide roll. Either roll can be anchored in position by means of locking pins, and the drive can be transmitted to either roll by means of toothed cranks and a longitudinal clutch on one roll. The plate is held in position during bending by two hydraulically powered arms, one on either side of the rolls. One roll can be pivoted out of the vertical position to allow work to be removed and a new plate be inserted. Bends up to 80 degrees can be made.
