Zusammenfassung:	1307076 Inflating lifesaving appliances SWITLIK PARACHUTE CO Inc 3 April 1970 [9 April 1969] 15837/70 Heading B7U A manifold 14 for an inflatable body 10 comprises a base 50 mounted in an aperture 12 of the inflatable body and a body portion 16 which includes a sleeve portion 18 commmunicating with a gas inlet portion 20. The sleeve is supported on the base in alignment with an opening 53 in the base and a tubular insert 32 extends within the sleeve providing communication between the gas inlet and the interior of the inflatable body. Flange 46 and cap 62 at opposite ends of the insert clampably engage the body portion 16 and base 50 therebetween so that the sleeve portion, base and body portion are interengaged against relative rotation about the axis of the insert.
