Zusammenfassung:	The device has a hollow needle (20) for carrying liquid from the tube segment to a sample container (22). The hollow needle has an inlet opening (46) arranged on the side, spaced apart from the tip of the needle, and is inserted laterally right through the tube segment, so that the opening lies within the tube segment and the tip serves as an outlet, outside the tube segment. An Independent claim is included for a method of extracting liquid from a blood storage unit. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Flüssigkeitsentnahme aus einem Schlauchsegment (10) einer Blutkonserve (12), wobei eine Entnahmekanüle (20) zum Überleiten von Flüssigkeit (116) aus dem Schlauchsegment (10) in ein Probengefäß (22) eingesetzt wird. Eine besonders vorteilhafte Flüssigkeitsentnahme wird dadurch ermöglicht, daß die Entnahmekanüle (20) eine im Abstand von der Kanülenspitze (112) angeordnete mantelseitige Einlaßöffnung (46) aufweist und quer durch das Schlauchsegment (10) hindurchstechbar ist, so daß die Einlaßöffnung (46) innerhalb des Schlauchsegments (10) und die Kanülenspitze (112) als Auslaß außerhalb davon angeordnet ist.
