The actuator has a clamping device (40, 30) actuated by an electric motor exerting a force on a wheel brake according to an electrical signal and an integral parking brake lockable by a parking brake torque with a gripping element (40) movable by the motor against a restoring force (50) and lockable in a position in which it exerts no force on the wheel brake. In this parking brake position the restoring force acts on the clamping device.
