The loading and lifting device (1) has a guide device (2) with at least one movable carrier arm (3) carrying a lifting device (4) for a load receiving device (5). The lifting device has at least one lifting arm (6) able to turn on the carrier arm, which is connected to the load receiving device so that their initially set orientation relative to each other remains unaltered throughout the lifting and lowering movements. Die Hebe- und Ladevorrichtung weist eine Führungseinrichtung zur Aufnahme eines, mit einer Antriebsvorrichtung versehenen, horizontal linear- oder schwenkbeweglichen Tragarms sowie einen daran vertikal schwenkbeweglich angeordneten, antreibbaren Hebearm und ein am freien Ende des Hebearms drehbeweglich gelagertes Lastaufnahmeelement auf, wobei letzteres vorzugsweise mittels Endloskette so mit dem Tragarm in Wirkverbindung steht, daß sich beim Verschwenken des Hebearms die Ausrichtung von Tragarm und Lastaufnahmeeinrichtung zueinander nicht ändert.
