Zusammenfassung: | A component is taken from a conveyer by a gripper and placed on a centering table(4) for accurate location by a centering gripper(5). The centering gripper places the component on a punch(8) of a vacuum cylinder(7) and the latter moves under a continuous protective film from which a section is cut by a thin heated needle. The vacuum cylinder then moves the film-coated component under the centering gripper from which it is transferred to the conveyer via the centering table and gripper. An Independent claim is made for the process equipment which includes a belt conveyer with job trays and a stop cylinder at the working position. A first gripper is operated by stroking cylinder and the centering unit comprises a horizontally moving table(4) and vertically moving centering gripper(5). A coating unit includes a punch(8), vacuum cylinder(7), cutting needle, film clamping ring and motor for needle operation. Rolls(13,14,15) store and wind-up the protective film and release paper. Preferred Features: Centering of the component is effected by applying equal forces around the periphery. Rolls for taking up silicone release paper from the film and remaining protective film are driven by electric motors with constant torque and the roll from which film is supplied is driven separately at constant torque. Components are held in trays on the conveyer. A tray and conveyer move forward one position allowing the process to be repeated before the tray leaves the processs equipment with two coated components. |
