Zusammenfassung: | The mesh drum assembly, for the continuous treatment of textile materials of different characteristics and including flocking webs or loose fibers, has two drums (2) with a longitudinal guide channel or corridor between them to transfer the material between them. At least one flow guide plate (6) is at the transit zone (5) between the two drums (2). One flow guide plate (6) is over the fabric or material (4), in the space between the drums (2), to give a smooth and uninterrupted transfer from the first to the second drum. A second flow guide plate can be under the fabric (4), in the space between the drums (2), to give a smooth and uninterrupted transfer between them. The upper flow guide plate (6) can carry a stripper, aligned against the first drum (2) surface. The outlet of at least one compressed air jet (7) is directed at the gap (8) between the end of the upper flow guide plate (6) and the surface of the leading drum (2), to detach any clinging material and move it through the transfer corridor on to the second and neighboring drum. The pitch angle of the flow guide plate(s) (6) can be adjusted in relation to the line of fabric (4) travel. The gap between the drums (2) can be set, and especially increased. A dividing plate (11) can be fitted between the drums, clear of the fabric (4) movement path, where the flow guide plate(s) (6) have their free end at the material transfer gap, or over the zone between the drums (2).
