Zusammenfassung:The engine has an oil pump (17) and an oil reservoir (15), which are integrated in the crankcase (1). When the engine is fitted, the pump is located in the crankcase below the crankshaft (11). The oil reservoir is formed by a part of the crankcase below the crankshaft, and is separated by a dividing wall (13) from a space (9) accommodating the crankshaft. The pump may be located in the oil reservoir, and is driven by pref. a gear drive positioned centrally in longitudinal engine direction.
