Zusammenfassung:	A book binding method includes binding a plurality of flatly superimposed leaves by a line of stitches of thread using a stitching machine, and folding the superimposed leaves in two along the line of stitches of thread to form a book. The stitches of thread of the superimposed leaves are impregnated with an anaerobic ultraviolet hardening type adhesive agent. A book binding apparatus is also disclosed.
