Zusammenfassung:	Hydraulic adjusting device for the knives of a harvesting machine comprises several blocks (14) which are connected to a hydraulic unit. Each block contains a hydraulic cylinder (12) and at least three bores (18,19,20,26). The cylinder is connected to two bores and the blocks can be connected so that the bores in them form at least three hydraulic conduits which extend across the breadth of the device. The supply and removal of hydraulic fluid from the cylinder to and from the bores which are connected to it is controlled by a valve.
