Gas assisted injection molding of vehicle grille guards

Vehicle grille guard (10) is formed as one component by injecting a plastics resin into a mold cavity in an amount less than the volume of the cavity, and injecting an inert gas into the center portion of the cavity to cause the plastics material to flow over the outer surface of the cavity.
