Washing machine or tumble drier with an uneven weight balancing mechanism, comprises a container with a drum, a drive motor, and a drum balancing system

A washing machine or tumble drier comprises a container (1) with a drum (2) which rotates about a horizontal axis, a drive motor (3) whose rotor is connected to a drum drive shaft, and a system for balancing the drum. The latter consists of a circular section (4) which is concentric to the drum rotational axis and has at least two weights inside, which can move freely. The circular section is located on the drive motor rotor. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Waschmaschine oder einen Waschtrockner mit einem Laugenbehälter (1), in dem eine Trommel (2) um eine wenigstens annähernd horizontale Achse drehbar gelagert ist, und mit einem Antriebsmotor (3), dessen Rotor (31) direkt mit einer Antriebswelle (22) der Trommel (2) verbunden ist. Um eine einfache Unwuchtkompensation vorzusehen, die nicht im Einflußbereich der Wasch- und Spülflüssigkeit angeordnet ist, ist ein System zum Auswuchten der Trommel vorgesehen, das aus einer mit der Trommel umlaufenden, konzentrisch zu ihrer Rotationsachse angeordneten kreisringförmigen Laufbahn (4) besteht, innerhalb der mindestens zwei Gewichte (41) frei beweglich angeordnet sind, wobei die Laufbahn (4) am Rotor (31) des Antriebsmotors (3) angeordnet ist.
