Zusammenfassung:	A seat covering (2) has a central, front (2a) and side (2b) piece. The front and side pieces of the seat cover together cover the air bag and are sewn to one another along their adjacent ends. This forms a sewn line (2c) and an intended break line (3), along which the seat cover is torn when the air bag is inflated and expanded. A low expansion tension fabric (7, 8) extends over both the front piece and the side piece of the seat cover, on which the air bag is inflated and expanded. At one end it is sewn to the sewn line of the seat cover and at its other end it is secured to the back rest frame (4).
