Zusammenfassung: | Discontinuous polyurethane foam block production comprises foaming a reaction mixture in a mold box within a reaction chamber sealed by a pneumatic or hydraulic sealing hose. A discontinuous polyurethane foam block production process comprises (a) introducing a reaction mixture (9) of fluid reaction components into a travelling mold box (2, 3); (b) placing the filled mold box in a reaction chamber (4, 5); (c) applying a weight-relieved cover (11, 36) on the foaming reaction mixture (9); (d) closing the door (20) of the reaction chamber; (e) sealing the reaction chamber to the door by means of a pneumatic or hydraulic sealing hose (25, 38); and (f) creating a pressure profile within the reaction chamber. An Independent claim is also included for an installation for discontinuous polyurethane foam block production, comprising a mixer (6) which is associated with a filling device (1) and which is connected to reaction component supply containers (7, 8), a travelling mold box (2, 3) and a reaction chamber (4, 5) which is equipped with a door (20), a pneumatic or hydraulic sealing hose (25, 38) between the reaction chamber and the door, a connection (34) for creating a pressure profile within the reaction chamber and a weight-relieved cover (11, 36) for application onto the foaming reaction mixture (9). Preferred Features: The cover is lowered completely within the reaction chamber onto the reaction mixture during foaming after closing the reaction chamber. A temperature profile may also be created within the reaction chamber and the weight relief of the cover may be varied during the foaming operation.
Qualitativ guter Polyurethan-Blockschaumstoff läßt sich auf einfache und robuste Weise nach einem neuen Verfahren mit einer einfach zu bedienenden Vorrichtung herstellen, indem ein fließfähiges Reaktionsgemisch in einen fahrbaren Formkasten (3) eingebracht, der Formkasten (3) in eine Reaktionskammer (4) eingefahren, ein gewichtsentlasteter Deckel (11) auf das aufschäumende Reaktionsgemisch (9) aufgelegt, zwischen Reaktionskammer (3) und Tür (Schieber) (20) mit einem füllbaren Dichtungsschlauch (38) abgedichtet, und in der Reaktionskammer (3) während des Ausreagierens ein Druckprofil angelegt wird. |
