Zusammenfassung:The hydraulic compacting or break-up energy is released from one or more hydraulic pulsers (4) in cyclical or metered remotely controlled pulses in horizontal, verticle or inclined boreholes or sondes. The pulses are intiated during downhole insertion or retrieval with the pulsing continued or halted. The pulser can form an integral part of the sonding or drill string (2), along with the drillbits etc, to be placed at required level and loaded and fired manually or remotely at optional period or in cycles. Pulsing is by fluid or fluid mixed with solids, storing the energy for the necessary cavitation pulse in the form of highpressurized gas or fluid or their mixture. The necessary fluid or mixture can be brought in from outside and the specified method is independent of the moisture or degree of saturation of the ground concerned. The pulser has a variety of axial and/or radial outlet ports which are closed immediately the pulse has been released.
