Zusammenfassung:	A solid fuel fluidized-bed steam generator in which a pair of combustion chambers straddle a heat-exchange chamber of rectangular configuration in a row and have one or more gas/solids separators connected to the combustion chambers at the tops thereof and lines which deliver gas from the separators to the heat-exchange chamber. The heat-exchange chamber has a plurality of heat-exchange elements for indirect heat exchange between hot gas and a cooling fluid, for example water, which is converted to steam.
