The aromatic polyester composition constitutes as essential components 100 parts by weight of an aromatic polyester essentially containing a p-oxybenzoyl unit (A) represented by the following formula (I):and a 4'-oxybiphenyl-4-carbonyl unit (B) represented by the following formula (II):and 1 to 400 parts by weight of an inorganic filler.
