Zusammenfassung:The system stores historic artifact images (30) and ideal images (26) from a number of devices (28) and a program (32) for removing them in a data bank (12), which can form part of the device computer. Each artifact image has known errors and methods for removing them, which are used as a basis for correcting them. Provision is made for diagnosing an artifact image with an unknown error. An Independent claim is provided for a method for using the system.
