Zusammenfassung:	The detector includes a light guide (1), which is integrated in the cylinder head gasket (5), for optically connecting the combustion chamber (7) to an evaluation unit. The light guide is connected to the combustion chamber using a transparent seal that has a larger cross-section than the light guide. The seal may consist of heat-resistant glass or sapphire, and may be cylindrical or conical. Preferably, the seal is pressed into a radial recess (8) in the cylinder head gasket from the combustion chamber side.
