Zusammenfassung:	The one-piece hollow gearwheel (1) comprises a hub region (2), a disc-shaped flange region (3) and a cylindrical rim (4) with internal teeth (4a). A section of the flange region in the radial direction has a density lower than that of the rest of the gearwheel. The thickness of the flange increases from its outer periphery towards the hub region, the density of the flange material being inversely proportional to the thickness. The gearwheel is produced from a powder which fills a mould which is then subjected to compression under predetermined pressures and is sintered.
