Zusammenfassung: | Non biodegradable substances are removed from organic residues prior to their decomposition for the production of methane ('biogas') in a fermenter. Non biodegradable substances are removed from organic residues prior to their decomposition for the production of methane ('biogas') in a fermenter (1). The fermenter (1) has a mixer (2) mechanism by which three fractions of different density are discharged. The three fractions are heavy sinking solids, suspended solids and floating substances. The residues are agitated by the mechanism within the fermenter (1). The residence period varies with the fraction density, and is individually controlled by the variable-speed mixer which may agitate the residues in whole or in part. |
