Zusammenfassung:	Under defined operating conditions of the vehicle at least one seat is moved into a position in which it closes off the stowage space(3) behind and/or below the seat. The defined condition is when the vehicle is closed. When the vehicle is opened, this seat is moved to a position in which it was located before closing the vehicle. A further condition is that the seat is not occupied. The movement of the seat takes place in conjuction with the positional change of the seat as a climbing-in aid. An Independent claim is included for a system to open the stowage space.
