Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for producing polyamides, their oligomers or their mixtures, possibly with other reaction products, by reacting aminonitriles (A) and possibly other polyamide-forming monomers and/or oligomers with water (D) by reactive distillation. The reaction product (P) is extracted from the column bottom in the reactive distillation device and resulting ammonia (N), as well as possibly other resulting compounds having a low molecular weight, and water are withdrawn at the head of the column.
